My Recent Work
Max's Homemade Cupcakes
A 'Two Broke Girls'-themed dessert e-commerce store. Users may 'Add To Cart' a variety of yummy sweets, search for a specific item, or filter items based on the category.
Order Management System
An Order Processing Application. Users are able to create an order from a list of stock items retrieved from the local MySQL database. Once an order is created, the database is updated accordingly. During this project I attempted to incorporate layered architecture pattern in the application design, by separating the presentation layer, the business/logic layer, and the database layer.
Julie's Portfolio Alt.
In a different timeline, chic Julie would be rocking this portfolio design. The aim of this project was to solidy a strong understanding of CSS3 by coding the stylesheet from scratch. From this project, I gained a practical understanding of the various usecases of pseudo-elements, why informative code documentation is a necessity, and an appreciation for the efficiency of CSS frameworks.
My Bookish List
Originally created with the intention to inspire myself to
read more. It didn't work.
MyBooklishList was my first taste of incorporating basic
database storage capabilities by utilising the local storage.
From this project, I became intimately familiar with DOM
traversal and manipulation, the use of JS classes to produce
cleaner, human-readable code, and using local storage to
persist information.
Jodie Comer Fan Page
A self-indulgent project which fed my newfound obsession for the TV series 'Killing Eve'. The aim of this project was to design the UI and develop the code from scratch. From this project, I became familiarised with CSS variables and grew an appreciation for web design.
Weather Forcast
A lightweight web application that displays your local weather forcast. Relies on an open-source API.
Hollywood Hair
A reimagination for a modernised and improved version of a local business's website.
